What I do

I am the co-founder of Nahar Productions, a film company based in Dubai. But I was first a poet. The poetry I write represents my present experiences. I have published eight poetry collections.

My milestone moment

I just joined the cultural advisory committee of the Cultural and Scientific Association. I won the Dubai International Film Festival Muhr Awards for my non-fiction film Nearby Sky. This accomplishment makes me proud as a filmmaker from the UAE.

I am working on several projects simultaneously including an arts project, a screenplay, and I’m putting together my new poetry book and preparing for my next documentary film.
