Wildest wedding of the year..?
Jake Paul has 19 million subscribers on Youtube, making him one of the platforms biggest stars. And to stay relevant on the internet, the 22-year-old has released controversial content that got people talking. One of which includes his engagement to fellow Youtube personality, Tana Mongeau.
Many thought that Jake and Tana’s engagement was merely a prank for the internet, meant to go viral and get people talking. However, a month after getting down on one knee, the couple tied the knot in Las Vegas on July 28, in what has to be the wildest wedding of the year. The live-streamed ceremony took place in Las Vegas’s Graffiti Mansion with a giant hashtag (#JanaForever — “Jana” being the couple’s ship name, a portmanteau of “Jake” + “Tana”) scrawled across the roof.
The wedding was everything you would expect from the Youtubers, including celebrity impersonators, a fistfight, a crowd of dazed reporters, a collection of outdoor mall outlets and three outfit changes for the bride. For her first look down the aisle, Tana wore a strapless dress and veil from GLAUDI by Johana Hernandez. Her second look was also by the same designer, but was very different to the first. The ball strapless princess ball gown was white on the top, with pink ombre towards the end.
The third and final look of the night was the 21-year-olds most bedazzled outfit. For the finale, Tana turned to Kuwaiti designer to the stars, Yousef Al Jasmi. He is known for his love for crystals and heavily embellished pieces, dressing the biggest stars from Mariah Carey to Kylie Jenner. The Youtuber wore a silver long-sleeved mini-dress with a deep v-neck and heavy embellishments. She paired the dress with equally sparking knee-high boots from Dolls Kill.

The ceremony was fully live-streamed on streaming platform Halogen for $49.99 (AED 183.5) and also was also used to promote Tana’s new MTV reality webseries. Jake’s older brother and Youtube megastar Logan was also in attendance declaring that the couple wouldn’t last a month, and ended with the couple leaving separately.
