This latest collection by Rizman Ruzaini draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of Nusantara folklore, specifically the enchanting tale of the Naga Seri Gumum. This mythical story narrates the slumber of a dragon deep beneath the natural treasure of Tasik Chini in Pahang, Malaysia. The collection’s aesthetic reflects this narrative through hues of burnt orange, turquoise and black, combined with opulent details and the incorporation of traditional Malaysian songket fabric.

Dubai Fashion Week witnessed this remarkable fusion of global fashion prominence and local design excellence, and the audience was treated to an extraordinary display of creativity and craftsmanship. Naomi Campbell’s runway appearance in Rizman Ruzaini’s creation was a testament to the region’s growth as a global fashion juggernaut.
