Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan has shared a heartwarming video from the engagement of Crown Prince Hussein to Rajwa Al Saif of Saudi Arabia.

The joyous occasion took place earlier this week at the home of Rajwa’s father, Khalid bin Musaed Al Saif, in Riyadh.

In the footage shared by Queen Rania on Instagram, Her Majesty, King Abdullah II, Prince El Hassan bin Talal, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II and other members of the Jordanian royal family are seen arriving at the Al Saif home where they are welcomed by Rajwa’s family members.

A beaming Crown Prince Hussein is then seen exchanging rings with his bride-to-be, which is then followed by a slew of congratulations and photographs of the newly engaged couple with their family members.

At one point in the video, Queen Rania also shares an endearing moment of affection with her daughter-in-law-to-be. Her Majesty also shared her excitement on social media to welcome a “third daughter” into the family.

The Royal Hashemite Court confirmed the engagement of Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa earlier this week.

“The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce the engagement of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II to Ms Rajwa Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif, on Wednesday, 17 August 2022, in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah,” the statement read.

Queen Rania also shared a series of photos on Instagram congratulating the newly engaged couple with a heartfelt message.

“I didn’t think it was possible to hold so much joy in my heart! Congratulations to my eldest Prince Hussein and his beautiful bride-to-be, Rajwa,” she said.

Another royal engagement

It’s a joyous time for the Jordanian royal family as the engagement announcement comes just weeks after Crown Prince Hussein’s younger sister, Princess Iman, announced her engagement.

Queen Rania shared a photo of her eldest daughter with her fiance Jameel Alexander Thermiotis confirming their engagement.

She congratulated her “dearest Iman” and her husband-to-be.

Now one question remains: when will the royal weddings take place?
