Binge o’clock
This weekend we are going to skip past Coronavirus, Explained and mindlessly fall down the Netflix rabbit hole, filled with new TV series and movies.
One of the leading streaming giants has put together an impressive lineup of entertainment that will see you through the month of May.
One series that we can’t wait to get our peepers on is Hollywood. A starry-cast transports us to post-World War II cinema era, with plenty of romance, backstabbing and drama. Aspiring actors and filmmakers would do anything, and we mean anything, to make it in the brutal world of showbiz.
Season 2 of Dead To Me is also finally here with its dark humour as two friends, a cynical widow Jane played by Christina Applegate and Judy played by Linda Cardellini, try to cover up the murder of Judy’s boyfriend. You and your bestie will be laughing through the entire season, which is full of plot twists and near misses.
If crime documentaries continue to grab your attention, make sure to add Trial By Media to your watchlist. For something a little more lighthearted, tune into Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours To Kill standup comedy show, or new series Space Force with Steve Carell.
Don’t forget to celebrate some of the best content coming from the Arab world, including classic Egyptian films and Saudi shorts.
