Earlier this year, Hermès rocked the beauty world with one of the chicest lipstick collections.

Part of its new beauty segments, all of the 24 colours are inspired by the rich archive of swatches – that’s 75,000 silk swatches and 900 shades of leather to be exact – while textures take their cue from silk scarves and iconic leather. But that’s not all, the tri-colour packaging is made from the same metals used in the hardware of the Hermès handbags while the custom lipstick scent was created by the brand’s perfumer Christine Nagel, resulting in beauty gems that deserve a prime spot on your bathroom shelf.

Now the historic Maison has introduced three limited-edition shades to the Rouge Hermès line. All paying tribute to the delicate rose flower, Rose Ombre comes in a satin finish and delivers a muted pink shade, while Rose Pommette appears a little brighter and also comes in shiny satin finish. Ruse Nuit is a perfect shade of moody pink for evening and gives a powdery matte finish to the lips.

The luxury house was inspired by those first few evenings of autumn when the weather and colours of nature begin to shift as well as artworks of American painter Charles Sheeler known for his photographic style of painting which was part of Precisionismmovement, John Register and Arduino Cataphora both known for painting domestic landscapes, French abstract painter Jean Helion and leading member of the French artistic movement of Nouveau realism Yves Klein.

All of the shade will be available from October 15 and are available in the plastic-free refillable packaging, just like the original 24 hues.

Shop at select Hermès stores throughout the region as well as the Hermès Parfumeur Mall of the Emirates boutique, each priced Dhs295.
