The super wore this drugstore favourite to last week’s Met Gala.

She’s one of the world’s most in-demand models, raking in more than US$9.5 million in 2017, according to Forbes.

However Gigi Hadid has rather affordable taste when it comes to her makeup bag.

Here’s how to copy Amal’s beauty look from the Met Gala

In fact, the 23-year-old catwalk star wore a face completely made up by Maybelline to last week’s Met Gala (meaning for once we can actually copy a celebrity beauty look without having to shell out thousands of dirhams).

The half-Palestinian model wore the drugstore brand’s Master Prime Hydrate and Smooth Primer (Dhs53) and Fit Me Luminous and Smooth Foundation (Dhs74) for her flawless base, her makeup artist, Patrick Ta, told the Daily Mail.

The overall effect was “based off the colour dimensions reflecting from her stained glass inspired gown”, he said, adding that “making the eye feminine yet bold was definitely key”.

Ta also used the Fit Me Concealer (Dhs45), Fit Me Blush, Master Precise Ink Liquid Eyeliner (Dhs51) and Falsies Volume Express Mascara (Dhs65) as well as the Soda Pop Eyeshadow Palette, which won’t officially be released until September.

Hadid is one of the faces of Maybelline – but she practices what she preaches, wearing the brand on red carpets including 2015’s MuchMusic Video Awards.

“It’s just really good, and they have two kinds,” she told Byrdie of the Fit Me foundation. “In the day, I use the one that is a little more dewy, and then at night, I’ll use the matte one because it’s better for when pictures are being taken.”

She also cited Maybelline’s SuperStay 24 Hour Wear Concealer as her favourite for hiding blemishes back in 2014, before she even signed on with the brand.

Hadid released her own makeup line with the beauty giant last year, which included eyeshadow quads, lipsticks, eyeliners, a mascara and more.

The star even gave one product, a red lipstick, an Arabic moniker, to honour her sister Bella, whose middle name is Khair (benevolent in English).
