One of our favourite Dubai hotspots reopens its terrace
With the weather cooling down, award-winning Japanese robatayaki restaurant ROKA has reopened its stunning terrace. To celebrate the new season, the soft furnishings have been given a refresh and the terrace has been extended to add an extra 60 covers, with a further extension to take place in early November. Guests can now dine alfresco with some of the exquisite dishes from the award-winning menu in the company of unparalleled views of the Burj Khalifa and Downtown skyline.
A new floating nightlife venue
A new floating nightlife venue has arrived in Dubai. Onboard the QE2, the new club, Float, will officially open this weekend. The world’s largest floating nightlife venue will boast an exclusive, private outdoor venue with a 1000-person capacity, on the highest deck of Queen Elizabeth II. One of our favourite perfume brands, OJAR, has just opened its first flagship store in Dubai. The Omani brand has launched its first-ever concept store in Perfumery & Co, The Dubai Mall. Capturing the essence of the brand perfectly, the OJAR’s flagship store in Dubai embodies a fusion between the East and the West.
A new seasonal menu
Bringing Parisian haute cuisine to the table is Bagatelle’s new menu. Curated by head chef Ricardo Goncalves, this luxurious hotspot boasts France’s rich culinary history with a modern take on these new dishes. By emulating an intangible cultural heritage to each dish, the unmistakable French flair is seen in a new light. Starting with the most popular dishes, the Tuna Tartare is served with a refreshing contemporary take with avocado puree, cucumber and orange dressing with La Tomate-a beef tomato stuffed with homemade fresh ricotta, heirloom cherry tomatoes, black olive granola, tomato consommé and basil vinaigrette.
