We think a huge congratulations is in order, as sources reveal Hollywood star Carey Mulligan is expecting her first baby with musician husband Marcus Mumford.
According to tabloid magazine US Weekly, numerous sources have revealed that the An Education actress and Mumford & Sons frontman are elated after discovering they are expecting their first child.
A source allegedly told the magazine: “They weren’t planning on announcing, but she hasn’t stopped working. Everybody around her is being very supportive. The show [she is currently starring in the play Skylight] ends soon and they’re going back to England after.”
While we are all excited for the potential arrival of what is sure to be one of the most adorable kids in celebdom – up their with gorgeous Prince George and Princess Charlotte – the celebrity couple, who infamously live a secretive lifestyle, have yet to come forward with an official statement.
British actress Carey Mulligan, 30, who began her career at 19 treading boards in the theatre, married fellow Brit Marcus Mumford, 28, on April 21, 2012. While Carey famously dated controversial actor Shia LaBeouf (they split in October 2010) it seems her relationship with Marcus was one of fate.
What many people don’t know is that the actress and the singer used to be childhood pen pals who lost touch and reconnected as adults. Now they’re potentially having a baby together!
