Princess Rajwa Al Hussein is known for her grace, simplicity and her impeccable style that defines her personality.

As a former equestrian who was also an architect by profession, Princess Rajwa’s sartorial choices have always leaned more towards androgyny with a hint of femininity.

Throughout her public sightings, her style formula has remained simple – blend comfort with elegance. Think oversized blazers but with a fun pair of jeans. Or, a well-tailored couture skirt, but with a simple crisp white shirt.

In every look, she makes sure there is only one stand-out element. Whether it’s a part of the attire or an additional accessory, that becomes the focal point of the look.

Recently, the newly-wed Princess of Jordan accompanied Prince Hussein during his meetings with Congress members at Capitol Hill in the United States. For this highly formal public engagement focusing on subjects like the strategic partnership between Jordan and the US, Princess Rajwa wore an understated outfit but with a surprising combination of accessories.

At first glance, her look appeared to be pretty normcore and routine for a Royal at an official event, but once you take a closer look, you can spot the fun elements.

Dressed in a funnel-neck pedernal blouse in ivory by Edeline Lee and a black midi-skirt by Dior, Princess Rajwa punctuated this look with a pair of hot pink, monogrammed, slingback Fendi heels and a matching pink Baguette phone pouch.

The look was Olivia-Pope-meets-Elle-Woods and we’re not complaining.
