Perhaps she’s trying to escape the chaos surrounding her recent nude pictures in Paper magazine, or perhaps she is after even more publicity, either way Kim Kardashian is jetting to India to take part in the country’s equivalent of reality TV show Big Brother, Bigg Boss.
Confirming her status as the Queen of Reality TV, Kim Kardashian will enter the Bigg Boss (season eight) house on November 22 and is likely to spend at least a few days inside the house where she will interact with other contestants.
The 34-year-old mother-of-one, who will not be entering the house with her husband Kanye West or 16-month-old daughter North, confirmed the news in a statement, announcing: “Namaste India… Main Kim Kardashian aa rahi hoon India.. Bigg Boss ke ghar mein.”
The reality TV show is renowned for inviting international celebrities into the house – season four starred former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson who was in the house for three days – as an attempt to boost figures. With Kim ‘breaking the internet’ it seems the Bigg Boss production team could be in for their biggest viewing figures ever.
Already, showing an interest in the country’s culture, a channel source confirmed: “Kim has expressed a desire to be seen in the Indian attire.” According to local papers, Kim’s itinerary and duration of stay in the house has been kept a secret. However, with the reality star used to living in front of the cameras 24/7, thanks to her ongoing stints on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, we doubt she will have any issues being under the watch of ‘big brother’.
A show source claims that they hope Kim will share he lifestyle tips with the 12 contestants and even dance to the Indian music that will be played during the programme.
Local celebrities on the show include TV actress Nigar Khan, who appeared in an Indian reality, The Khan Sisters, with her sibling Gauhar Khan – we smell potential rivalry… pass us the popcorn! #celebritycatfight
