In the blink of an eye, a new month has rolled around again. Luckily for you that means the brand new October issue of Emirates Woman is on the shelf, but more importantly it’s also a special long weekend with Eid Al Adha, so it’s time to celebrate!
DEFYING GRAVITY AT BOUNCE
This week at EW HQ we’ve had several birthdays and we’ve also received lots of very thoughtful and tasty Eid gifts, so that means we’ve got to burn a few hundred extra calories this weekend just to balance all the delicious goodness out. Because we’re already bouncing off the walls in a sugar-induced frenzy, we’ve decided to head to Bounce, Dubai’s first indoor trampoline park, to keep the momentum going and to have a soft place to land. SOLVING THE MYSTERY AT HINT HUNT
We’ve been hearing about this mysterious group activity for a while now, but the problem is that no one will actually give us any information except for that it’s secret and it’s super fun. With a little more prodding we found out that you and a group of friends are locked up in a room and the only way out is to solve a series of mind-bending puzzles. Don’t worry, if you don’t solve the puzzle within the allocated time, they will let you out – but we’re determined to walk out winners! For more info visit here.
WATCHING THE SKY LIGHT UP AT KITE BEACH
There is not one person in the whole of the UAE that can say that Dubai can’t do fireworks. Dubai knows how to make the sky explode in a shower of brilliant light and colour, and just when you think it’s over, there is always more! To celebrate Eid Al Adha holiday the city of Dubai is hosting nine nights of fireworks on Kite Beach from October 2 to October 11.
