And this July, ESMOD Dubai is offering a series of short workshops covering everything from pattern-making to wedding dresses and corsets to abaya design.
At four weeks long, this could be the ideal way to find your specialist area within fashion. You don’t know until you try.
Another point of difference for ESMOD students is the school’s fashion incubator store. Called Polette and located in City Walk, it exclusively sells students collections, giving them experience in merchandising and branding, as well as first-hand feedback from customers.
It’s the ideal way to get your clothes in front of the people you want to wear them.
Or maybe you’re more interested in the business side of fashion. ESMOD also offers a nine-month course which will teach you everything you need to know about marketing analysis, product lines, understanding your market, competiton and brand positioning.
It will run from September, and unlike other business courses, it’s dedicated solely to fashion.
