The US chart-topper will perform in Abu Dhabi on New Year’s Eve.
Crowds will be roaring more than usual this NYE, with Katy Perry performing in the UAE for one night only.
The singer-songwriter will play at Yas Island’s du Arena on December 31, with tickets going on sale from November 8.

Perry, whose No 1 hits include California Gurls and Part of Me, is currently on a world tour with her new album Witness.
She’s got several Guinness World Records, American Music Awards and a Brit Award to her name, and is known for her upbeat live performances.
Fun fact: she’s also the most-followed person globally on Twitter, with 106 million fans.
We reckon this will sound particularly good in the flesh (and since it’s New Year’s Eve, we’re expecting quite the stage show):
This will be the first Abu Dhabi gig for Perry, who last performed in the UAE in 2015 at the Dubai Air Show (while last year’s New Year’s gig was headlined by British band Coldplay).
