We’ve long been a fan of his red-carpet work, as have his clients Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, and 2016 Miss Universe winner Pia Wurtzbach.

But celebrities aren’t the only gals going gaga for Michael Cinco.

The Dubai-based designer is a favourite of Middle Eastern brides-to-be, and has created gowns for everyone from social media stars to real-life princesses.

Cinco, who’s originally from the Philippines, regularly shares images of his otherworldly creations on Instagram, and his latest is a particular jaw-dropper.

With its rippling embroidered skirt, delicate tulle veil and scooped back, this is the definition of a fairy tale gown.

The couture designer, who set up his eponymous label back in 2003, studied at London’s prestigious Central Saint Martin’s College of Arts and Design.

And he takes his bridal responsibilities extremely seriously — stylist Samantha Francis, who wed in a Cinco gown last year, told us that making the dress of her dreams was a very thorough process.

“Leading up until the wedding we had many appointments in which Michael went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly the dress I wanted,” she said.

“He imported French lace with a bird design – my husband always calls me a magpie as I like everything that sparkles. I felt like a million dirhams at my wedding!”

Of course, such attention to detail comes with a weighty price tag, with Cinco’s wedding dresses rumoured to cost in the tens of thousands of dirhams.

However cost might not be too much of a worry for his A-list clientele, which includes a number of royal brides.

So while we might just have to dream about saying “I do” in one of his dresses for now, here are some of the gowns we’ll picture wearing…
