Following the revelation she underwent a nose job at just 14-years-old, Bella Hadid’s parents have come under fire from fans on social media for allowing the model to undergo the invasive cosmetic surgery procedure.

In a candid interview with Vogue US, the supermodel revealed she had a nose job when she was a teenager, something which she regrets.

“I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors,” she told the publication. “I think I would have grown into it.”

Now, the 25-year-old’s parents, Yolanda and Mohamed Hadid, are being slammed on social media for allowing their daughter to undergo such a procedure at such a young age.

Many shared their “shock” at allowing a young teenager to get plastic surgery, while others question if it was even “morally ethical” to do such a thing. Some even labelled the pair “terrible parents”.

In particular, Yolanda came under fire from fans, as footage resurfaced of the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star arguing with Gigi Hadid about eating a slice of birthday cake. In the clip, Yolanda pressured the young Gigi at the time to be “on her best weight”.

While Bella did admit to having a nose job – after previously saying she hadn’t had any cosmetic work done at all – the supermodel denied undergoing any other procedures, something which has been of rife speculation for years.

Addressing rumours head-on, the model acknowledged a photo which often circulates of her online, aged 13, where she looks, as Bella says, “puffy”.

“I’m pretty sure you don’t look the same now as you did at 13, right?” she retorted in the interview, denying rumours that she has had filler or her “eyes lifted”.

In the interview, Bella also opened up about her struggle with anxiety and depression, admitting to “believing” harsh comparisons many made between her and her elder sister, Gigi Hadid.

“I was the uglier sister. I was the brunette. I wasn’t as cool as Gigi, not as outgoing,” Bella said, adding that after being told such things “so many times, you do just believe it”.
