An extension on tourist visas has been given to those who are currently visitors in the UAE.
With entry restrictions being imposed around the world, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai has graciously granted an extension for tourist visas for one more month without any government fees.

With this new extension, tourists from around the world will be able to spend New Year’s Eve in the UAE as the instruction was commanded by Major General Mohammad Al Marri, Director-General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA).
In addition, the government entities will ensure the safety of visitors during their stay in the UAE and work towards speeding any requirements for the procedures to address the difficulties faces by visitors due to global airport closures in certain countries.
