As the UAE gears up to celebrate its 50th National Day next week, authorities have announced the holiday days for the occasion.
To mark Commemoration Day and National Day, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources confirmed there would be a four-day break for public sector employees.
Wednesday, December 1 and Thursday, December 2, will be days off, and combined with the weekend days it’s set to be a four-day break.

“Commemoration Day and UAE National Day Holiday in the Federal Government from Wednesday, December 1st until Friday, December 3rd, 2021,” the authority posted on their official Twitter account.
While there hasn’t been an official announcement, it can be expected the holiday days will be the same for private-sector employees.
This year, we celebrate the 50th National Day for the UAE, marking half a century since the seven emirates came together to become one country under the leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed.
