The daughter of HH Sheikh Mohammed is learning to snowboard at the Mall of the Emirates hotspot (well, cold spot…).

She’s mastered horse-riding and swimming, and now Sheikha Al Jalila is turning her focus to a new sport – one that’s particularly cool (sorry, we couldn’t resist).

The 9-year-old royal has been learning to snowboard, as recent snaps shared by her mother, HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, prove.

The daughter of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has been studying the winter sport with classes at the popular Ski Dubai.

“Who says it doesn’t snow in Dubai!” HRH Princess Haya captioned the snapshots, which show Al Jalila on the slopes clad in a snowsuit and helmet.

The young sheikha looked to be getting to grips with the icy pursuit judging by the images Princess Haya shared with her 173,000 followers.

And it’s not just snowboarding that Al Jalila has showed promise in, as Princess Haya later shared a clip of her young daughter sketching at home.

In the short video, which has already been viewed more than 20,000 times, the 9-year-old is seen drawing an incredibly artistic portrait that puts our mid-meeting doodles to shame.

Whether it’s a pencil or a snowboard in hand, Al Jalila is definitely one to watch…
