Dubai isn’t short of luxury apartments, but a new development on the Palm Jumeirah looks set to join the crème de la crème of the city’s property scene.

Plans to build the Palm 360, a new twin-tower hotel and residential project located on the western crescent, were revealed by Nakheel this week, and the insanely decadent penthouses have us wishing we had a few spare million dirhams in our banks.

The 220-metre-high towers are slated to open in 2020, and will consist of two boutique hotels with 110 rooms between them, 252 serviced apartments, and 12 lavish penthouses.

Here’s a sneak peek of the top-dollar properties, six of which will cover a whopping 12,000 square feet each (that’s the size of four tennis courts)…

Yep, we’re planning a career change now too.

The penthouses each come with four bedrooms, occupy their own floor (or two in the case of the larger properties), and feature a private infinity pool, home gym, and theatre room.

The six smaller penthouses clock in at 9,200 square feet each, and all feature wall-to-ceiling windows for panoramic views, en suites attached to all bedrooms, and accommodation for live-in staff.

If the penthouses are a little out of your price range (well, we don’t know exactly what they’ll cost but it’ll certainly be a lot), you could downsize to one of the one or two-bedroom serviced apartments.

Ranging from 738 square feet to 1,450 square feet, every apartment comes complete with a balcony and “plush interiors with luxury bathrooms and kitchens”.

Set among 500,000 square feet of landscaped ground, Palm 360 is named for its dazzling views of the man-made island and Dubai’s city skyline, and gives residents and hotel guests easy access to the beach.

For those who are already planning a weekend away (hey, 2020 isn’t *that* far off), you’ll be able to stay at one of two hotels, each taking over nine floors of both towers.

There you’ll find five restaurants, including one open 24/7, three beachfront eateries and a rooftop option that sounds ideal for celebrating special occasions.

Guests will also have access to a spa, health and fitness centre, a lush indoor garden, and a 135-metre rooftop infinity “sky pool” that sits between the two towers.

“This unique creation brings together the very best in location, views and amenities at what will undoubtedly be one of the most sought-after addresses in the world,” said Nakheel Chairman Ali Rashid Lootah on the development’s unveiling.

Right, what are our chances of winning the lottery in the next four years?
