Treating yourself never felt so good.

Why, you ask? Because New York’s famous organic burger chain Bareburger is coming to Dubai – and the first outlet opens very, very soon.

A Festival City Mall restaurant will start serving up burgers from next month, the chain’s co-founder John Simeonidis Jr announced this week.

The Dubai outlet will keep in line with the brand’s ethos of selling all-natural, free-range meats, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free variations available for those with dietary restrictions.

So it’s basically health food…right?

While the UAE-based menu isn’t yet available, we’re expecting plenty of the chain’s signature burgers, sandwiches, salads, and shakes – plus Bareburger usually offers create-your-own options.

The company – which has stores across the US, and in Germany, Japan and Canada – also has plans to open three more locations in the emirate, it said in a statement.

Bareburger will join plenty of other US imports currently already in the region, including Shake Shack, IHOP and Five Guys.

It’s been a solid few months for the Dubai F&B scene – first Muchachas, the female-focused Mexican joint launched by those behind Tom & Serg, opened its doors, and renowned Turkish restaurant Rüya is set to debut in Dubai any day now.

The culinary brains that brought Coya, Nusret, and Zuma to the city are opening the “captivating” new restaurant concept in Dubai Marina’s Grosvenor House Hotel in the third quarter of this year (so expect news soon).

Meaning dream in Turkish, the venue fuses a vibrant restaurant, lounge and bar experience together, exploring the extremely rich history and diversity of Anatolian food, a cuisine that draws inspiration from a number of rich culinary traditions.
