When it comes to fashion in a post-pandemic world, comfort is key. Always.
This has led to a huge rise in what could be described as the “sport luxe” trend and we’ve discovered one of our favourite homegrown UAE athleisure brands has jumped on the bandwagon and admittedly we’re obsessed.
Known for its premium activewear pieces, The Giving Movement has added to its fashion offering with a new formal line which includes dresses, shirts, skirts and abayas, but what really has us swooning is the oversized suits.
Described as “the perfect balance” between formal wear and activewear, the ethical and sustainably produced clothing brand’s oversized blazers and relaxed trousers, as well as the rest of their formal line, are available in around 12 colourways from bold orange to muted blue to classic black.

As with all of their garments, the pieces are 100 per cent sustainable made from recycled water bottles and are produced right here in the UAE.
Launched with giving in mind – as the brand’s moniker states – at the beginning of 2020, the label not only gives back to the planet, but each purchase of a garment gives back to communities in need by donating a portion of the sale.
“Meaningful apparel to me are clothes that mean something to the person wearing them,” founder Dominic Nowell-Barnes previously told Emirates Woman. “They should have a positive impact and there should be a consideration in how they are produced.”
The release of The Giving Movement’s formal line adds a whole new dimension to the UAE-based athleisure brand and it’s proven to be a huge hit.
First launching a couple of months ago, some of the UAE’s most well-known content creators have been spotted wearing the sustainable suits, styled in an array of different ways.
