Taking shopping to new highs!

Our favourite mall and the world’s biggest mall is getting bigger. The Dubai Mall is adding a new nine-storey extension called Zabeel, extending on its already humongous 5.9 million square foot mega-mall.

This new shopping destination will be every fashionista’s favourite place to be and can be found adjacent to the main mall. The Zabeel extension will is built close to Al Khail Road and can be accessed through a footbridge. According to The Dubai Mall, Zabeel will be offering visitors new lifestyle experiences.

The 140,000 square feet extension will be home to new dining options and retail stores – there is more to see and we can’t wait. It will also offer 3,000 more parking spaces, which means that you have more parking options if you are planning on visiting the main mall during busy times. It will also include easy access points from Al Khail Road as well as an alternative route leading from Sheikh Zayed Road onto Financial Centre Road.

Only one store has opened in the extension so far, and it is organic supermarket, Grandiose. If you are looking for healthy and sustainable grocery shopping, then this is the place for you. The supermarket offers eco-friendly and healthy food options. Not much has been revealed about what other stores will open at Zabeel, but what we do know is that the space has been described as having a ‘light and modern industrial design’.

However, the new expansion will offer experiences other than just shopping. Just recently, an exciting new attraction opened its doors in the new space. EKart Zabeel is an adrenaline-pumping electric karting experience. It offers vistors ‘a challenging course with the latest generation of electric go-karts’. Moreover, The Dubai Mall Zabeel expansion will host Dubai gym Train SF, which is set to open soon.

Can’t wait for the expansion to officially open!
