It’s official – Arab Fashion Week hosted by the Arab Fashion Council is back for 2021.

Being presented in partnership with Microsoft, Arab Fashion Week will be gracing the runway virtually in the Middle East and internationally showcasing the FW 2021/22 collections of coveted regional designers.

As the digital world has become an imperative aspect of almost every industry, the Arab Fashion Council has embraced the concept with open arms, as Jacob Abrian, Founder and Chief Executive of Arab Fashion Council said, “Following the success of the previous virtual editions and the continued restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19, Arab Fashion Week will present the five-day programme virtually and in line with the Council’s strategy to provide the world with a platform through which to view and access the exceptional creative fashion talent from the Arab region and abroad.”

As part of the theme ‘Dream Big, Travel Beyond’, the vision encourages fashion designers to reach new heights as they participate in this phenomenal venture with Microsoft’s digital innovation as it allows to showcase this large-scale event to a wide global audience.

Those part of the Green Label initiative will also present their collection such as Croatian label Krie Design and Italian label Francesca Liberatore, keeping the UN sustainable goals in mind.

Ihsan Anabtawi, COO and CMO of Microsoft UAE said, “It has been a year since the tremendous success of the first-ever digital Arab Fashion Week, and what started off as an interim solution is now recognized as a viable platform for broader audiences to enjoy large scale events such as this one.”
