Sole DXB – aka hub for contemporary fashion and sportswear – is almost ready to open it’s doors to urbanites from Dubai next weekend. Not only is it one of the best festivals to discover the latest launches, but it is also a melting pot of edgy style.
Attracting skateboarders, DJ’s, musicians, and other creatives, Sole DXB becomes a stomping ground for alternative dressing and daring pairings. Unlike some of the other fashion events in the city, this is a social gathering where attendees start dressing from the feet up.
Colourful, chunky and extreme sneakers will decorate the streets of the Dubai Design District, and we have a feeling that many will be shopping the third collaboration between Reebok and Pyer Moss.
“Collection 3.” features rich and expressive prints that bring light to untold and forgotten stories through the Sankofa; a Twi word from the Akan tribe in Ghana which translates to ‘Go Back and Get It’. As well as the athletic staples, Collection 3 will also feature the Pyer Moss Experiment 4 “Fury Trail” sneaker.
Merging futuristic elements with a sporty silhouette, the sneakers come into colour-block options with the laces disguised as a draw-string. Make a statement and style with a contrasting tailored suit or a dress.
Want to meet the man behind your next sneaker obsession? Founder of Pyer Moss, Kerby Jean-Raymond, will be at the festival to take part in the activity at Reebok’s minimalistic, culturally inspired premium space.
