Dubai’s first resident show is just a month away from opening its doors…

As La Perle gears up for its first performance, new photos reveal just how amazing the world-first venue will be.

Created by legendary artistic director Franco Dragone, the 90-minute show will combine ground-breaking technology with “superhuman” aquatic and aerial stunts performed by an international cast of 65 skilled artists.

The custom-built, 1300-seat theatre, located in Al Habtoor City, consists of an aqua stage filled with 2.7 million litres of water.

A visual feast of high-tech, 3D projections can transform the stage during the show, taking the audience on a journey to different worlds.

The show takes inspiration from Dubai’s “rich cultural past, vibrant present and aspirational future”.

With only 14 rows and seating built 270 degrees around the aqua stage, everyone is guaranteed a unique view of the action.

“It is a thrill to present the La Perle theatre to the public for the first time,” Dragone said as the first images of the theatre were released this week.

“An experience like no other, La Perle sets a new milestone in world-class entertainment with a show so spectacular that we had to build a theatre around it.

“We are extremely proud to present this unique project and can’t wait to welcome the first guests to immerse them in the wonderful world of La Perle.”

La Perle will open on August 31, with performances running from Tuesday to Friday at 7pm and 9.30pm, and on Saturdays at 4pm and 7pm.

Tickets start from Dhs400. Visit laperle.com, call (800) LAPERLE or email boxoffice@laperle.com to book.
