It’s been a while since we’ve seen our favourite celebrities take to the red carpet and pose in front of hoards of cameras.
However, over the weekend one of the first socially distanced red carpet events took place for the 2020 MTV VMAs.
Despite the “new normal” atmosphere of the event due to the pandemic, we still managed to see an Arab designer being championed at the star-studded event which saw Hollywood stars grace the red carpet including Lady Gaga, Bella Hadid, Miley Cyrus and The Weeknd.
Another star who attended the socially distanced event included Bebe Rexha.
The singer wore a faux leather blazer dress and biker shorts, both black, accessorised with a special bit of bling – a Silver Pill clutch from Kuwaiti brand Marzook, which is based in Beirut. The brand is the brainchild of Kuwaiti brother and sister duo Fahad and Shouq Al-Marzook.
The Kuwaiti designers’ pieces are no stranger to the A-list set having previously been worn by Priyanka Chopra Karlie Kloss, Kelly Rowland, Jannelle Monae and more.
The handbag brand has become well-known for their unique pieces which come in a variety of different shapes and colours, along with many different textures.
