“Zayed sought to spread good across the world and make the Emirates a beacon of hope.”
Well, this is somewhat breathtaking.

Opened on Monday night, the memorial was timed to tie in with the Year of Zayed, marking 100 years since Sheikh Zayed’s birth.

Amazing. The inauguration was attended by many UAE rulers, including HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Reflecting on Sheikh Zayed’s legacy, Sheikh Mohammed said the Founding President’s memory would remain a source of inspiration for generations to come.
“When we mention giving, we have to mention Zayed. His name will forever be associated with generosity and humane leadership in the annals of history,” he said.
“Zayed sought to spread good across the world and make the Emirates a beacon of hope.”
