Obsessed with numbers and want to contribute to UAE’s growing economy? HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched the Young Economist Programme for future thinkers and entrepreneurs.

Established through the Federal Youth Authority, it is aimed at bilingual experts (Arabic and English) aged between 21 and 35. Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in economics or related fields and can commit to a three-month scheme that will provide you with all the skills you need to jump-start your career and help shape nations ambitious plans.

“It is very important to engage the youth and equip them with the competencies needed to steer the future of our economy,” said the Crown Prince of Dubai.

“Our youth have the ability to think outside the box and produce innovative ideas and solutions for modern challenges.”

The 50 students will embark on over 60 training sessions as well as technical workshops, field trips, and meetings with leading economic minds to further fuel their ambitions.

There are also opportunities to attend local and international conferences to expand your list of contacts and gain added experience in the field.
