The predicted dates for the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr have been announced.

As per Gulf News, Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, who is a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, has estimated when the crescent moon will appear to mark the beginning of Ramadan.

The holy month is predicted to start around April 2, 2022, which would then mean Eid Al Fitr would begin around May 2, 2022.

However, these dates are only predictions at present and the firm dates will be announced closer to the time.

When Eid begins and depending on which day the moon is sighted, UAE citizens and residents could enjoy up to a five-day break.
