Designed by Italian architect Piero Lissoni, the sophisticated contemporary resort encompasses an open-plan concept complete with earthy tones to seamlessly blends in with its natural surroundings. Located just next to the resort are a golf course and an extensive natural park with lagoons and mangroves, ideal for those who wish to do some exploring.

As the senior staff at Al Zorah explained to us, the Oberoi Group has always put the guest first and within this lies creating a distinctive hotel experience for each individual that walks through its doors.

The thoughtfully designed resort is laid out across three platforms, which lead down onto the property’s private sandy beach.

At the top, you’ll find the buildings housing the 74 private rooms, which should be regarded as suites due to the incredible amount of space you get, the reception and concierge, a restaurant and the 85-metre pool.

Heading closer to the beach, on the second platform, you’ll find the seven three-bedroom villas, complete with their own private pools, and the luxury spa. Closest to the beach is where the eight two-bedroom villas with generous terraces and private pools and the resort’s second culinary offering on the beach.

The 355,209 square foot resort houses two dining concepts – Vinesse and Aquario. The former is the resort’s main restaurant which offers all-day dining with international cuisine with a contemporary twist, meaning there’s something for everyone.
