This new City Walk restaurant just got the royal seal of approval

Want to dine like Sheikh Mohammed and Princess Haya? Then head here…

We’ve picked up a few dining tips from HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum over the years.

We tried out vegan eatery Flow after the Ruler of Dubai was spotted there, we’re big fans of Shake Shack (where the royal’s been snapped with his youngest son, Zayed) and now we’ve got another must-try restaurant to add to our list.

Sheikh Mohammed and his wife, HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, were captured enjoying a meal at a newly-opened Dubai spot this week.

Baku Cafe, which launched in City Walk on October 21, serves up Azerbaijani cuisine, and now counts the royal couple amongst its first visitors.

“HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has graced us with his presence,” the restaurant wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of the couple.

HH Sheikh Mohammed has also been spotted at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi and City Walk’s Farzi Café this year, amongst others.

While we’re not sure exactly what the royals ate at Baku, we’re eyeing up the cafe’s baklava, stuffed vine leaves, and this seriously good-looking lamb…
