Filmmaker chose an elegant gown.
You can never go wrong with black and for her most recent appearance on the red carpet, Nadine Labaki opted for a minimal yet glamorous dress from Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika.
The Lebanese actress and director behind celebrated film Capernaum, which received several awards nominations including Academy award last year, was in the Italian city for the screening on J’Accuse (An Officer And A Spy).
Georges Hobeika is a regular on a red carpet, but unlike his heavily embellished pieces Labaki’s floor-length dress only featured a bejewelled necklace that held the dress up. However, for added a drama it also featured a sheer cape.
The 45-year-old is due to attend the Toronto Film Festival next where her latest acting gig in a film 1982 will be screened.
