Michael Cinco gets super romantic with this blush-pink wedding gown

The Dubai-based designer proves you don’t need to wear white to make an elegant statement on the big day.

He’s long been established as a designer to the stars, but Michael Cinco is also a doyen of bridalwear.

And the Dubai-based designer has been pulling out showstopping gown after showstopping gown in the last year in particular, dressing everyone from crystal heiresses to his own niece on their big day.

However his latest masterpiece has given new inspiration for brides around the world thanks to its subtly soft colour palette.

Cinco dreamt up a blush-pink gown for dermatologist and TV personality Dr Victoria Belo, who tied the knot at the iconic Paris Opera last week.

With a three-metre train crafted from French lace (particularly fitting given the venue), the number also featured elaborate baroque embroidery for added drama.

The couture creation was also dusted in both transparent and rose opal Swarovski crystals, for extra glitz.

The Filipina star, who wed long-term partner Hayden Kho, also sported a cathedral-length veil for the ceremony, which fell theatrically over steps leading to the altar.

“The spectacular and extravagant wedding of Victoria Belo and Hayden Kho is probably the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen,” Cinco, who’s originally from the Philippines, captioned an image of the newlyweds.

“I’m so proud and happy to be part of it.”

Belo herself also thanked the designer just days after the nuptials, telling Cinco the gown was “everything I imagined, hoped for, and more”.

The designer has been on a real bridal roll in recent weeks. Need proof? Just check out these wondrous gowns:
