The royals will be holding the baptism in early July for Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, marking his second public appearance since the official photo call at St George’s Hall, Windsor Castle on May 8.

The exact date is yet to be revealed but the British newspaper The Sunday Times did report that the Queen will not be attending the ceremony due to prior commitments, however many of senior royals are expected to be present.

The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex are following the royal protocol that states that a baby must be christened two to three month’s after the birth, but whether they will be announcing their son’s godparents, selecting an Archbishop to conduct the ceremony, and sitting down for a family portrait is so far unknown.
