The Hollywood star is creating beach clubs and even a hotel, she reveals exclusively to Emirates Woman.
She first set the rumour mill into overdrive last year, after revealing her dreams of creating an island in her own name.
And it turns out that Lindsay Lohan wasn’t making empty promises.

The Mean Girls actress is set to take over not one, but two islands off the coast of Dubai, putting her name to a series of luxury developments.
The 31-year-old, who currently calls the UAE home, revealed she is taking over Lebanon Island in the World Islands in an exclusive interview with Emirates Woman.
The New York-born star, who is the cover star of our June issue, plans to revamp the existing beach club to create a new restaurant, luxury cabanas, water sports stations, and perhaps even private villas.
Lohan, who owns a nightclub and a beach club in Greece, will also add Thailand Island to her ever-growing portfolio, and plans to turn in into a paradisiacal getaway.
The Lohan-branded island will feature a luxury hotel, Michelin-worthy restaurant, idyllic waterfront pool and plenty of leisure activities, the star revealed.
“We’re slowly taking over the islands!” she joked, as she took us for a tour.
The beach club on Lebanon is expected to open later this year, while there is no confirmed launch date for the Thailand development yet (but we’ll keep you updated when we know more).
The projects will be some of the first to open on the manmade archipelago, which lies about 4.5 kilometres off the coast of Dubai.
