As travel is largely still on hold for the UAE, the thought of getting on a plane for many is a distant memory.
However, it’s been announced that certain UAE citizens and residents will be allowed to travel to selected destinations from June 23, according to the Emirates news agency, WAM.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, made this decision due to the positive developments in regards to coronavirus status in the UAE.

The details and regulations for this latest travel move are yet to be announced, including the set rules to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
There has been a significant increase in travel options across several airlines, with Emirates offering limited flights to Cairo, along with 30 other destinations and Etihad offering 50 per cent credit on new bookings.
Despite this positive step, Abu Dhabi has recently extended its movement ban and those returning to the UAE still have to quarantine for 14 days.
Keep following government rules and stay safe.
