They went as the ugly step sisters!
Yesterday marked one of fashion’s biggest nights, the 71st Met Gala. Hollywood’s A-listers brought their A-game to the red-carpet, dressed for the night’s theme “Camp: Notes on Fashion.” Sister duo, Kendall and Kylie Jenner made a grand entrance, attending the event as each other’s dates, dressed in twinning bright feathered dresses, and we are obsessed.
The sisters stunned side-by-side, with Kendall in orange and Kylie in Lavender. The supermodel wore a bright orange, feathered Atelier Versace gown, accessorising with Tiffany & Co. jewels. The floor-length sheer dress was heavily embellished, featuring feathers at the bottom and on the shoulder, which looked like a wing. The eldest sister spoke to E! on the carpet, telling them: “We kinda decided to go for it. Kylie and I worked on it and we came up with a fun vibe with Donatella. My dress has a lot of feathers at the bottom, so I almost tripped myself but, yeah. I saw pictures, she’s a rock star and I love her. She’s amazing.”

Meanwhile, the makeup mogul dazzled next to Kendall, in head-to-toe lilac. Kylie wore a strapless, see-through dress, mermaid-esque dress with a feather trim. The dress is completely hand-embroidered with Swarovski crystals in a chain pattern. The mother-of-one completed the look in the best way she knows how, a matching lilac wig.

Social media users went to town, comparing the sisters looks to several infamous duos like: Scooby Doo’s Velma and Daphne, the sisters from Ella Enchanted, and the twins from White Chicks. However, Kendall gave her own two cents, sharing a picture on her Instagram story of the evil stepsisters from Cinderella – either way we think they won the red-carpet.
Even though Kylie posed with her partner, rapper Travis Scott, who rocked a military-inspired ensemble, we are still glad that she decided to attend with her older sister. The 21-year-old shared a glam shot of them together, which she captioned: “till death do us part.”
