With actor Demi Moore opening the show in an off-the-shoulder black satin and Naomi Campbell closing the show in a silver cape with cathedral-length train, the breathtaking debut was nothing short of glamorous as it featured strong, intelligent women dawned in gorgeous silhouettes featuring shades of gray, silver, black, and white which dominated the collection.

Representing Fendi’s artisanal qualities Kim Jones, displayed his elegant tailoring by taking inspiration from Virginia Woolf’s Orlando, which is a 1928 novel, that inspired the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s 2020 exhibition, designed with the intention to recreate the times we’re living in. Adding to the atmospheric quality of the live stream was the supremely moving Max Richter soundtrack, which exhibits the immaculate attention to detail displayed at the show.
