Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have finally gotten their ‘happily ever after’ nearly 20 years after first getting engaged.
The pair tied the knot last month in Las Vegas, but over the weekend the couple wed once again, this time in the company of their friends and family on Affleck’s 87-acre plantation in Georgia, USA.
JLo stunned in three custom-made gowns by American designer Ralph Lauren for the wedding all of which were accessorised with over seven figures’ worth of jewellery, meaning the bride was quite literally dripping in diamonds.
While the bride wore an array of different pieces on her big day, what stood out was a pair of earrings she paired with her third dress, a mermaid gown which featured Swarovski crystals and a plunging neckline.
To complete the look JLo wore a pair of 27-carat diamond earrings by Lebanese jeweller Samer Halimeh which were custom-made.

“JLo looked ever-stunning and breathtaking [at] her wedding to Ben Affleck,” the jeweller said on Instagram. “Congratulations to the beautiful couple. Love always wins.”
The custom-made pair of diamond earrings, which form a floral motif, are reportedly worth a staggering $2 million (Dhs7.3 million).
The Lebanese jeweller is no stranger to having his pieces adorned by A-listers – Hailey Bieber, Angelina Jolie, Paris Hilton, Kourtney Kardashian and more are all known to have had pieces designed for them by Halimeh.
The first wedding
JLo and Affleck, dubbed by fans and the media as ‘Bennifer’, first wed in Las Vegas just over a month ago.
The blushing bride also described the ceremony as “the best possible wedding we could have imagined… one we dreamed of long ago… at very, very long last”.
For the first ceremony, JLo wore two wedding dresses for the nuptials. The first was showcased in a video of the bride by celebrity hairdresser Chris Appleton. JLo wore a simple high-neck, sleeveless white dress.

The singer then changed into a bridal ensemble by Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad – an off-the-shoulder corseted dress with a sweetheart neckline.
In the past, Lopez admitted the Arab designer is her “favourite”. “I love Zuhair, he’s probably my favourite,” she said in a previous interview.
She first wore a gown by the designer to the 2010 Met Gala and since then has continued to champion the couturier’s impeccable creations.
“I wore his dress to the Met Ball and after that, I just started using him for everything… we just have a great relationship,” she recalled. “He’s a beautiful man, a beautiful designer.”
Thus, it’s no surprise the star opted for a Zuhair Murad gown for her wedding to Affleck – a moment they (and all of us) have been waiting for for over two decades.
JLo and Affleck announced their second engagement back in April of this year, nearly two decades after they were due to wed the first time.
The singer herself confirmed the news via her fan newsletter in a short video which showed a tearful admiring a gorgeous green diamond ring on her engagement ring finger.
The engagement comes a year after the pair began dating in April last year and nearly 20 years after the pair were set to wed for the first time in the early 2000s.
JLo and Affleck first began dating in July 2002 after meeting on the set of Gigli in 2001. The couple’s relationship was heavily publicised and a somewhat media storm at the time.
The pair became engaged for the first time in November 2002. Affleck proposed with a pink diamond ring reportedly worth an eye-watering $2.5 million.
Bennifer were set to marry on September 14, 2003, but was postponed due to what was cited at the time as “excessive media attention” surrounding the nuptials. Four months later in January 2004, they announced they had split.
Affleck went on to marry actress Jennifer Garner in 2005 but split up in 2018. The pair have three children together.
Meanwhile, Jlo went on to marry Marc Anthony in 2004, with whom she has two children. The pair divorced in 2014 after 10 years of marriage. Most recently, JLo was engaged to former professional baseball player Alex Rodriguez. They began dating in 2017 and became engaged in 2019. However, the couple announced their split in April 2021.
