The beauty industry is becoming one of the most inclusive and diverse platforms for self expression.
To celebrate perfect imperfections and characteristics that make you different, Huda Kattan has collaborated with Pakistani crystal artist Sara Shakeel on a shimmering self-love campaign.
What better way to embrace stretch marks, birth marks, freckles, disabilities and more than to sprinkle them with glitter. Shakeel clearly loves anything shiny and has become insta-famous for adding some dazzle to an array of images she shares. For this campaign she used her sparkly skills to highlight aspects that some may actively choose to hide.

“Beauty, I think, to so many people has been this idea of perfection and we feel at Huda Beauty now more than ever it’s about you,” explain Huda in the behind the scenes video. “It’s about embracing all of who you are, every single aspect of who you are. It’s really taking something that maybe have been perceived as not so beautiful and putting something really beautiful like glitter on it.”
The campaign features Brazil’s beauty influencer Mari Maria who is known for her gorgeous freckles, Haitan-American blogger Mama Cax who proudly showcases her glittery metal amputated leg, and Deborah Morena who has been living chronic skin condition Vitiligo since the age of five.

“It was more of me looking at the positive side of stretch marks. The glitter fades off, and the picture is just a picture but the feeling remains forever,” says Shakeel.
