Fendi just took things to the next level by giving famous Baguette bag an unexpected twist. The fashion house’s new Baguette bags are set to be the world’s first scented hand-bags – how did no one think of this before? The luxury brand collaborated with legendary perfumer, Maison Francis Kurkdjian who is renowned for his audacity and boldness to create perfumed bags that are a treat to all your senses. Also, it doesn’t hurt that the new bags are bright yellow!

For this exciting new launch, Francis Kurkdjian is said to have create a gender fluid eau de parfum specifically for the Fendi. The bag’s leathery, musky scent is said to ‘reflect the nobility and fluidity of the Selleria leather’. The perfume is blended with an entirely inclusive customer-base in mind, a scent that everyone can appreciate and enjoy.

The best part of this all? Well, according to Fendi, the scent will last for an astonishing four years. So how does this work? When you buy a scented Baguette bag you’ll get a 5ml bottle of perfume with it. You can either apply the perfume to your skin or spray it on the card hidden inside your bag to enhance the scent.

Fendi explained that their inspiration for creating the concept came from feminine individuality: ‘A bag is something so feminine, like the best friend of a woman, she holds all her life in it, her secrets. And a fragrance is something that is really one of the most personal things for a woman’.
