Apple has unveiled the iPhone 13 and there’s four new models set to launch later this month.
During the virtual event which took place on September 14, Apple also unveiled the new Apple watch and two new iPad alongside the new iPhone models.
As stated by the tech giant’s CEO Tim Cook, the new models are “the best iPhones we have ever created”. The four new models include the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The iPhone 13 will be available with 15.5cm display. Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 mini will have a 13.7cm display and when it launches it will be one of the smallest smartphones available currently.
Both these models will feature a Super Retina XDR display, Apple’s most advanced dual‑camera system ever, an A15 bionic chip that enables longer battery life. They will also be available in five colourways – red, starlight, midnight, blue and pink.
Prices for the iPhone 13 mini start from Dhs2,999 and for the iPhone 13 prices start from Dhs3,399.

As for the pro models of the iPhone 13 – the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max – they will feature “the biggest advancement for our camera system, the best battery life ever in an iPhone and the fastest performance of any smartphone”, the senior vice president of worldwide marketing for Apple, Greg Joswiak, said during the live stream.
The real selling point of the new iPhone Pro is the macro photography available. The new redesigned lens has a powerful autofocus system and has a new ultrawide camera which can focus in at just 2cm.
The iPhone 13 Pro has a display of 15.5cm and the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a display of 17cm. The pro models will be available in four colourways – sierra blue, graphite, gold and silver.
Prices for the iPhone 13 Pro start from Dhs4,199 and for the iPhone 13 prices start from Dhs4,699.
The new iPhone will be available to pre-order in the UAE from September 17 and will be available from September 24.
