Being the doting son he is, Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan made sure to send his mother, Queen Rania, a heartfelt birthday message to mark her special day.
Sharing a photo of himself with Her Majesty with his 2.8 million Instagram followers, the Crown Prince wished his “dear mother” a happy 51st birthday.
“Happy birthday to my dear mother!” he said. “May your smile and compassion continue to brighten our lives.”
The off-guard photo of the mother-son duo showcased the pair in a more casual light than we’re used to seeing the royals.

A more formal portrait of Her Majesty with her husband, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, was also posted to mark her birthday via the official Royal Hashemite Court Instagram page.

Throughout her time in her royal role, Queen Rania has ensured to give back all she can to the Jordanian community, introducing various initiatives in the education sector to supporting families amid the pandemic.
