The world’s most famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been welcomed by royalty on his latest trip to Dubai.
In a series of photos shared online on Thursday, the football star was seen meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
The snaps were shared by Sheikh Hamdan – affectionately known as Fazza – himself via his Instagram story.
The first photo was of the Dubai Ruler and the Dubai Crown Prince meeting with Ronaldo and his son Cristiano Jr.
The second showcased the same group of four, but in a larger gathering of people. And the final photo was of Ronaldo and Sheikh Hamdan appearing to joke around together.
It’s known that Fazza and Ronaldo are well-acquainted with the pair regularly seeing each other when the football star is in the UAE, where he holds a 10-year golden residency visa.
Ronaldo has been in Dubai for a few days already, sharing a photo with his family at the Bvlgari Resort where he seems to be staying.
He’s set to attend Expo 2020 Dubai on Friday.
