Prepare to get goosebumps from the Canadian superstar’s latest performance…
They wrote it for her 20 years ago, and now Céline Dion has paid tribute to the late Bee Gees brothers with a heart-touching rendition of Immortality.
The Canadian singer performed the track at a Grammy-organised concert dedicated to Robin, Maurice and Andy Gibb on Sunday, and also honoured her late husband, René Angélil.
“I sing with love for Barry, and in memory of Robin, Maurice, and Andy, as well as for my beloved brother Daniel, and my husband, Rene,” she told the crowd.
Dion donned a midnight-blue haute couture gown by Elie Saab for the occasion, featuring a belted waist, tulle layers and restrained embellishments.
The Lebanese label shared an image on the songstress on their Instagram page, commending her “spectacular performance”.
And we don’t know about you, but those high notes definitely gave us goosebumps…
Dion wasn’t the only celebrity to sport Elie Saab this week, with Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson donning the label to the LA premiere of Free Fire.
The Room star chose an ebony velvet and lace-trimmed dress for the red carpet, with a waist-cinching belt and strappy sandals.
If only the weather in the UAE was more velvet-friendly at the moment we’d copy this for our next black-tie event.
