These A-listers made the cut

Back in March, Dubai announced that they will be bringing one of Hollywood’s biggest tourist attraction home. Los Angeles is known for it’s iconic Walk of Fame and now we are getting our own star-studded pavement.

Dubbed ‘Dubai Stars’, the brand new attraction developed by Emaar has officially been unveiled in Downtown Dubai. Around 10,000 stars are lighting up Downtown Dubai, and it is said to be four times the size of its famous counterpart in La La Land. Up to 400 of the stars have been revealed on opening day, including prominent names including Elie Saab, Beyoncé, Leonardo DiCaprio, Abdel Halim Hafez, Oprah and Hazza Al Mansouri.

Some of the other names are still a mystery, but here are some of our favourite celebs who have received The Dubai Star:

Dubai based Huda Kattan is the latest name announced to receive a Dubai Star. This comes as no surprise, as the entrepreneur built her beauty empire in the UAE. Huda Beauty is one of the biggest names in the cosmetics industry, and has had its influence on an international level. The Iraqi-American mogul was chosen as one of The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet by Time in 2017, and was listed among The Richest Self-Made Women by Forbes.
