See in Saudi National Day in style

This Sunday will see Saudi Arabia celebrate its 88th National Day.

While there will be plenty of celebrations in Riyadh and Jeddah to mark the 88th National Day,  Dubai and Abu Dhabi will celebrate the milestone with a string of events.

Dubai cafe to give free gourmet dishes to Saudi women drivers

Saudis arriving to the UAE over National Day weekend will be welcomed to Dubai International Airport and Abu Dhabi Airport with sweets, flowers and Saudi flags. Officials at both airports will also wear scarves to represent the Kingdom while immigration counters will be decorated with Saudi flags.

The Burj Khalifa will light up in the colours of the Saudi National Flag all weekend while Saudi residents will receive 50% off attractions in Downtown Dubai, including the Aquarium & Underwater Zoo and Dubai Ice Rink.

The Beach, JBR, will hold its first ever Saudi Cinema Weekend where a number of award-winning short films by Saudi directors will screen at Roxy Cinema. These include Mamdouh Salem’s biography of King Abdul Aziz Al Saud Desert Eagle and  Tawfik Alzaidi’s The Other, which touches on fatherhood and sacrifice.
