A jolly time!
SPONSORED: We are just days away from Christmas and by now it is peak festive season. So, what is better than celebrating this jolly time of the year than at a Christmas market by the water – specifically at Dubai Festival City.
In spirit of this festive season, Dubai Festival City went all out to bring the full Christmas experience to the city. Open to visitors till 29 December, the market’s magical 20-meter tree lights up daily at 6pm. Not only that, but there is a special live show running every hour with the ‘Festive City Singers’ singing to your favourite festive songs and carols.
The market is filled with entertainment for visitors of all ages. There is Santa’s Grotto, which runs between 6pm and 10pm every night, where Santa makes the round taking pictures and wish lists from the children. Moreover, there is also a train dubbed the ‘Festive Express’ which takes guests on a journey to explore all the festive spots at the mall, which includes the massive steam train – perfect for a selfie when the train shoots up smoke from the chimney.
Just because we live in Dubai, doesn’t mean we can’t have a white Christmas, as DFC has live snow falling every 15 minutes to keep people in a true jolly spirit. Another big part of the festivities is the IMAGINE attraction, which showcases a special festive tale titled “The Night Before…” which aims to spread the holiday spirit.
