Having set a Guinness World Record, the ‘Crème de la Crème Pommes Frites’ are made from the finest Chipperbec potatoes, which is a special variety of US-grown white potatoes, which are blanched in Dom Perignon champagne and then later in French champagne vinegar.
Known for their decadent selection of dishes, this iconic spot in New York City offers a host of mouth-watering bites, including the star of the show which is the fries that are made with premium truffle butter, drizzled with truffle shavings, edible gold and are presented on a pristine crystal Baccarat plate, with 100 per cent grass-fed cream from Jersey cows accompanied by cubes of gruyere truffled Swiss raclette.

In an interview with Reuters, the Corporate Executive Chef Frederick Schoen- Kiewert said, the “main star” of the dish is truffle, adding that there’s an eight to 10-week waiting list for this hero dish.
While captivating patrons since its inception, this enchanting place has previously made its way to fame under the Guinness World Records, as its star dishes are unlike those seen from around the world, giving it undeniable popularity unlike any other.
However, due to the pandemic, the restaurant closed its doors for a certain time frame, while opening it earlier this month, with the fries gaining their official world record earlier this month.
